HEY EVERYONE!! It is chick season! This year is starting off with very high demand at the hatcheries and they are only able to partially confirm our orders and only for the month of March so far. We will be updating our availability as we hear back from the hatcheries and get new order confirmations. HEADS UP! Island Seed and Feed pays a little extra for each of the chicks that we buy in to have them “sexed” at the hatchery in an attempt to weed out those pesky roosters. However, this practice is NOT 100% accurate and some male birds will slip into each of our orders, so you are always running the risk of getting a male. All sales are final and we cannot take any birds back once they leave our store. We can help you find a new home for your rooster(s), as long as you do not mind that home being in a stew pot.
